Correct installation and use of traction seat and traction pin
Before the traction seat leaves the factory, the fit clearance between the locking hook and the traction pin meets the standard. After driving to the mileage, the locking hook and the traction pin will have normal wear. At this time, the clearance can be adjusted with the adjusting screw. The adjustment method is: loosen the fastening nut of the adjusting screw, and turn the adjusting screw outward according to the size of the gap to remove the gap. Pull the operating lever, the locking hook and latch will open and return automatically, and retighten the fastening nut to put them into use. Since the mode of "one main trailer and more trailers" is adopted, the semi-trailer train often needs to be uncoupled, and the wear ring and locking hook must be worn. When the size of wear ring a ≤ 30.5 ram and the size of locking hook 6 ≤ 17.5 ram, replace the wear ring and locking hook.
The method to replace the wear ring is: remove the three hexagonal socket bolts in situ, pry the chamfered side at the opening of the wear ring with a screwdriver to remove the wear ring. Install a new wear ring on the original vehicle. The method to replace the locking hook is: after removing the wear ring, screw M12 bolt into the locking hook pin, pull the locking hook pin upwards, remove the spring, take out the locking hook, replace it with a new locking hook, and adjust the screw rod to recover.
Installation and use of traction pin The specification of traction pin is 2 inches (50), and 3.5 inches (90) can be divided into two types according to the installation form.
Assembly type traction pin Assembly type traction pin consists of a tray, a traction pin and 8 self-locking bolts. According to the thickness of sliding plate, there are three types of assembled traction pins: 8mm, 10mm and 12mm. The welded traction pin is used to weld the pallet on the sliding plate of the semi-trailer.
When the assembled traction pin is worn or accidentally damaged, the method to replace it is as follows: remove 8 self-locking bolts (self-locking bolts are disposable), tighten the new traction pin with 8 self-locking bolts, and the tightening torque is 130Nm. The tray is suitable for exchanging 2 inch and 3.5 inch (q, 88.9ram) traction pins.
The welded traction pin is directly welded to the sliding plate of the semi-trailer, and the traction pin cannot be replaced. This kind of traction pin is made of 20CrMnTi, and the surface is carburized and quenched to enhance the wear resistance of the surface. According to the thickness of sliding plate, there are three types of welded traction pins: 8mm, 10mm and 12mm.
The replacement of the traction pin, as a Class A safety part of the semi-trailer train, is very important to the driving safety. When the relevant parts of the traction pin (refer to Figure 8) are worn to the extent, that is, c ≤ 71mm, d ≤ 49mm, e ≤ 82, they need to be replaced. After 50000 km of operation, its dimensions shall be inspected regularly. Proper installation, operation and use of the traction seat and traction pin can greatly prolong the service life of the traction seat and traction pin, and more importantly, ensure safe driving, reduce transportation costs and improve transportation efficiency.
