For the important link between tractor and semi-trailer, the type of tractor also varies in different ways according to different conditions of use of vehicles. There are two main types of ordinary traction seats, 50.8mm and 90mm, commonly referred to as 50 # saddle and 90 # saddle.
Trailers used for ordinary road transportation are usually equipped with 50.8mm traction pins, which is enough, while 90mm trailers are mostly used for construction machinery transport trailers and special trailers. In addition to the difference of the corresponding trailer towing pin, the height of the two towing pins is also different when they are installed on the same tractor chassis. When the trailer is unloaded, the distance between No. 50 traction seat and the ground is less than No. 90. Of course, the height of the trailer after connection is also low, and the vehicle stability is good.
