This type of traction seat has high driving stability, and is suitable for driving semi-trailer with high speed, light load and high mass center on good roads. The frame bears high torque.

For large-scale transportation and heavy special equipment transportation, the single pendulum type is far from meeting the demand. The starting weight is usually twice or even several times the weight of ordinary road transportation. Therefore, the traction seat used for heavy load transportation usually adopts double pendulum type, that is, besides swinging back and forth, the traction seat can also swing left and right. During heavy load transportation, the tractor frame can be protected under different road conditions. Generally, the double pendulum traction seat is much higher than the single pendulum traction seat, and its lateral stability is not good when the vehicle turns at high speed. Therefore, the traction seat is not used for ordinary road transportation.
